- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add uncooked pasta and 2 cups water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes.
- Sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and cook until melted.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms if desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
