Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add uncooked pasta and 2 cups water.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and cook until melted.
