  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, pour the buttermilk.
  4. In a third bowl, add the cornmeal.
  5. Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and finally into the cornmeal, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. In a large skillet, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  7. Fry the pickles in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
