A delicious and easy overnight French toast casserole.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add bread cubes to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Drizzle maple syrup over the casserole.
- Pour melted butter on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with fresh fruit.
- Can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free bread.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
