Description
A delicious and easy overnight French toast casserole with fruit.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of French bread, cubed
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Place the cubed bread in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread.
- Add mixed berries on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Feel free to substitute other fruits.
- This dish can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free bread.
