- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 2 cups of apples, peeled and diced
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the cubed bread and diced apples in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and apples.
- Drizzle melted butter on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
