- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
- Coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- You can customize the breadcrumb mixture with Italian seasoning or herbs for added flavor.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
