Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
  8. Spray the tops of the chicken with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
  9. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  10. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
  • You can customize the breadcrumb mixture with Italian seasoning or herbs for added flavor.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
