- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 12 small corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning. Follow packet instructions, usually adding water and simmering for about 5 minutes.
- While the meat is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or on a grill until pliable.
- On a large serving platter, arrange the warmed tortillas. Top each with a spoonful of the seasoned meat.
- Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the meat.
- In separate bowls, serve sour cream, guacamole, black beans, corn, and chopped cilantro for guests to customize their tacos.
- Garnish the platter with lime wedges for an extra burst of flavor.
