Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm milk and dissolve yeast in it.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon on the dough.
  8. Roll the dough and cut into slices.
  9. Place slices in a greased baking dish.
  10. Let rise again until doubled.
  11. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Mix powdered sugar and vanilla for icing.
  13. Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.
