Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of egg roll wrappers
- 2 cups of shredded cabbage
- 1 cup of shredded carrots
- 1 cup of cooked chicken, diced (or your choice of protein)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, cooked chicken, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with a corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the egg rolls in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
- Spray the tops of the egg rolls with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, make sure the egg rolls are not overcrowded in the air fryer.
- You can customize the filling with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
- Serve with dipping sauces like sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
