Description

A simple and tasty spaghetti chicken dish that combines tender chicken with classic spaghetti in a rich tomato sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add garlic and onion to the pan. Sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan if desired.
