- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken into pieces
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer beef mixture to slow cooker.
- Add spaghetti sauce, uncooked spaghetti, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and water. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Break spaghetti into smaller pieces for easier cooking.
- Stir halfway through cooking if possible.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
