Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and green bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
