- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- In another bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and water until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just blended.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
- Use fresh pumpkin puree if preferred.
