Description
A simple and delicious overnight breakfast casserole that you can prepare in advance.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the bread into cubes and place in the dish.
- Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain.
- Spread the sausage over the bread cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until set.
Notes
- Can use any type of bread.
- Customize with vegetables or different meats.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
