Easy homemade cinnamon rolls with a soft, fluffy texture and sweet cinnamon filling.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
- Heat milk, water, and butter until warm (not boiling).
- Add the warm liquid and egg to dry ingredients, mix until dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight.
- Add cream cheese frosting for extra sweetness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
