Instructions
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Spread the cubed bread evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the bread, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Top with maple syrup or powdered sugar if desired.
