- 3 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 1/4 cup milk (for frosting)

- Food coloring (optional, for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients until dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool completely.
- For frosting, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
- Frost cooled cookies and let set before serving.
Notes
- Chill dough for 30 minutes if too sticky.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Use sprinkles for extra decoration.
