Description
A quick and easy low-carb alternative to traditional egg rolls. This dish combines ground meat with shredded cabbage and seasonings for a flavorful meal.

- 1 lb ground pork or turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 14 oz shredded cabbage (or coleslaw mix)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add onion, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in shredded cabbage and cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, then top with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add chopped water chestnuts.
- Replace soy sauce with tamari for a gluten-free version.
- Add shredded carrots for more color and sweetness.
