- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Heat water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil in a saucepan until boiling.
- Remove from heat and add flour, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
- Mix in vanilla extract and let the dough cool slightly.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe dough into hot oil using a star-shaped nozzle, cutting into 4-inch lengths.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, then coat churros in the mixture.
