Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (for sauce)
  • Salt to taste (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Mix all spices with olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken slices and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side until done.
  4. For the sauce: Mix yogurt, minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and salt.
  5. Serve chicken in pita bread or wraps with sauce and fresh vegetables.
