- 500g boneless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (for sauce)
- Salt to taste (for sauce)
Instructions
- Mix all spices with olive oil and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Add chicken slices and coat well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook chicken in a pan over medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side until done.
- For the sauce: Mix yogurt, minced garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and salt.
- Serve chicken in pita bread or wraps with sauce and fresh vegetables.
