- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, and oregano.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Add chicken broth and lemon slices to the skillet.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Substitute dried herbs with fresh ones if available.
