A simple and delicious chicken lo mein recipe that you can make at home in no time. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp oil to the pan. Stir in garlic, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Return the chicken to the pan. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper. Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with beef, shrimp, or tofu.
- Add more vegetables like broccoli or mushrooms if desired.
- Adjust soy sauce and oyster sauce to taste.
