- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for added convenience.
- Feel free to substitute the mixed vegetables with your favorite veggies.
- For a creamier texture, you can add 1/2 cup of sour cream to the mixture.
