- 1 box (18.3 oz) brownie mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 large eggs (for brownie mix)
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs (for cheesecake)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and 2 eggs until combined. Spread batter in the pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the brownie layer is set.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add 2 eggs and mix well.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over the baked brownie layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheesecake is set.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.
- Do not overbake the cheesecake—it should be slightly jiggly in the center.
- Top with chocolate sauce or whipped cream if desired.
