A simple and delicious recipe for chicken gyro bowls made in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken strips to the bowl and coat evenly.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Warm the pita breads in the air fryer for 2 minutes.
- Assemble the bowls with chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and tzatziki.
Notes
- You can use store-bought tzatziki for convenience.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
