Description
A simple and delicious teriyaki chicken recipe made in a crockpot. Just dump the ingredients and let the slow cooker do the work.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred or slice.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the crockpot sauce.
- Return chicken to the crockpot and cook for 15 more minutes.
- Top with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch.
- Serve over rice or steamed vegetables.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
