Description
A hearty and flavorful deer chili made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground deer meat
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground deer meat over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
- Add beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings.

- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Top with cheese, sour cream, or green onions if desired.
