Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour three 8-inch cake pans.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Beat eggs, buttermilk, oil, food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar in another bowl.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Divide batter evenly among pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into cream cheese mixture.
  8. Layer cakes with cream cheese filling and crushed Oreos.
  9. Cover cake with remaining filling and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  10. Pour chocolate ganache over the top, allowing it to drip down the sides.
