Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content.
- Adjust sugar and salt to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
