Description

A simple and delicious twist on traditional lasagna using ravioli and a crockpot for easy preparation.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet if using. Drain excess fat.
  2. Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Layer half the ravioli over the sauce.
  4. Top with half the ground beef, half the remaining sauce, and half the cheeses.
  5. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  7. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Vegetarian version: omit ground beef
  • Can substitute meat ravioli for cheese ravioli
  • Fresh ravioli cooks faster – reduce cooking time by 1 hour
