A hearty and flavorful dish made with tender steak, potatoes, and cheese, slow-cooked to perfection in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs beef steak, cubed
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the steak cubes.
- Layer the diced potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the browned steak cubes on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the steak and potatoes.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, top with shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt.
- Garnish with sour cream and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add bacon bits before serving.
- You can substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
