Description

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 6 French rolls
  • 6 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Place beef chuck roast in the crock pot.
  2. Add sliced onion and minced garlic around the roast.
  3. Pour beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce over the meat.
  4. Sprinkle thyme and rosemary on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Shred the beef with two forks.
  7. Toast French rolls and top with shredded beef and provolone cheese.
  8. Serve with the cooking juices for dipping.
