A simple and flavorful beef and broccoli dish made in a crock pot. Tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced thin
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Place sliced beef in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and beef broth. Pour over beef.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the crock pot.
- Add broccoli florets and cook until tender, about 20-30 minutes.
- Serve over rice.

- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Adjust soy sauce for salt preference.
- Add red pepper flakes for heat.
