- 1.5 pounds baby potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Boil the baby potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes, or until fork-tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.
- Once cooled, place the potatoes on a clean surface. Using the bottom of a glass or a potato masher, gently smash each potato until flattened but not falling apart.
- In a large bowl, toss the smashed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the smashed potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the potatoes for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add grated Parmesan cheese before air frying.
- Ensure that the potatoes are not overcrowded in the air fryer for even cooking.
