- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten chicken breasts to even thickness.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, then dip in beaten eggs.
- Coat chicken with crushed pretzels.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- In a saucepan, mix mustard, cheddar, heavy cream, and garlic powder.
- Heat sauce on low, stirring until smooth.
- Serve chicken with sauce.
