- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Beat the egg in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 3 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Drizzle sauce over chicken and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for better flavor.
- For extra crispiness, broil chicken for 2 minutes after baking.
