- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Toss chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, double fry the chicken.
- Adjust honey amount for preferred sweetness.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
