  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip chicken pieces in beaten eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  4. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, water, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Toss chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
