- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Cut the fish into strips and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix flour, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip fish strips in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Fry the fish in hot oil until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Combine shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, and cumin to make the slaw.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Assemble tacos with fish, slaw, avocado, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges.
