  • 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cut fish into strips.
  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. Dip fish strips in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Mix yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, mint, garlic, and salt to make the tzatziki sauce.
  7. Warm tortillas in a dry pan.
  8. Fill tortillas with fish, cabbage, and cilantro.
  9. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce and serve with lime wedges.
