- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Dredge tenders in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.
- Boil macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and stir to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Mix cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
- Serve chicken tenders with mac and cheese.

- For extra crispiness, spray chicken with cooking oil before baking.
- Use panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
