  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Dredge tenders in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.
  5. Boil macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and stir to make a roux.
  7. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  8. Add cheese and stir until melted.
  9. Mix cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
  10. Serve chicken tenders with mac and cheese.
