- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 cup alfredo sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb-parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and toss with alfredo sauce.
- Serve crispy chicken parmesan over alfredo spaghetti.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese works best.
