Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  2. Add water gradually until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Cook beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic until beef is browned.
  4. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes. Let cool.
  5. Roll dough thin and cut into circles.
  6. Place filling on each circle, fold over, and seal edges.
  7. Brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
