- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Return beef to the skillet and mix well.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve hot.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer.
- Substitute beef with chicken if preferred.
- Best served with pasta or mashed potatoes.
