- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and broth, stirring to combine.
- Add paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best results.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
