Ingredients

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce thickness if needed.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
