  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream to the skillet and mix until combined. Stir in dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Allow the sauce to simmer for another 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, and toss until the pasta is well-coated.
  7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
