- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.
- Adjust sauce thickness by simmering longer or adding a splash more broth.
- Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
