Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp thyme

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove steaks and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in thyme.
  6. Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return steaks to the pan and coat with the sauce.
