A rich and creamy mushroom steak dish that combines tender steak with a savory mushroom sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 4 minutes per side.
- Remove steaks and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until soft.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir in thyme.
- Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return steaks to the pan and coat with the sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use ribeye or sirloin steaks for best results.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer.
