- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add mushrooms and garlic, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in beef broth, then stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Return beef to the skillet and mix well. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.

- Use fresh mushrooms for the best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
