Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Form into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir.
  6. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir until thickened.
  7. Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Stir in sour cream and heat gently.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.
